Day 21: Pastor Jason

You did It!!! There is something so special about taking the first 21 days of the year to set ourselves apart for a time of prayer, worship, and focus.

Life is about cadence. That is what these 21 days are supposed to help us see and appreciate. It is to hopefully help all of us create a cadence in our lives that helps us stay aware of and engaged in prayer.

Our prayer for you is that these 21 days have been catalytic for your faith, intimacy, and awareness of God’s presence and purpose in your life. We encourage you to continue to journal and set time aside for prayer and worship throughout the year. This time has not been wasted because prayer is not about what we receive but rather about the relational building that takes place between God and us.

The habits formed over these 21 days can and will continue to shape who we are as we continue in them and allow ourselves to be formed by them.

So, as we close this time out and look forward to the rest of 2023, we borrow the words and prayer of Paul the Apostle to the Ephesians as he writes:

Ephesians 3:14-21“14 For this reason I kneel before the Father 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named. 16 I pray that he may grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with power in your inner being through his Spirit, 17 and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love, 19 and to know Christ’s love that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us—21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

With love,
Pastors Jason and Erica
